From the colorful Lisbon to the stunning medieval castles of Sintra and the most unique beaches you've ever seen on the Algarve Coast, you'll be blown away by everything this country has to offer. Open yourself to adventure by trying delicious pastéis de nata (with extra cinnamon and sugar, of course), wandering the historical winding walkways of Lisbon with live Fado music playing in the distance, feeling like royalty in the storybook Palácio da Pena, and kayaking through the turquoise grottos of Lagos. Not only will you be able to experience the rich history and culture of Portugal, but you'll also be able to let loose on white sand beaches and a boat ride along the unreal coastline.

1. Your international flights to and from Lisbon are not included. We do however happily make suggestions and notify our travelers when great flight deals are available.

Day One
Flight to Lisbon
Who doesn't love a travel day? Grab those free meals and drinks on your overseas flight.
The flight will most likely be an overnight flight due to the time change from the Americas, so get some sleep and watch some movies.
Day Two
Arrival in Lisbon
Arrive in Lisbon, the oldest city in Western Europe and the capital of Portugal. Upon arrival, you will instantly see the vastness of the city built on seven hills and feel the incredible Portuguese culture. Transportation from the airport to the accommodation is included.
Grab a drink or pastry and meet the group at the highly-rated accommodation.
The rest of the evening is yours! Recommended Optional Excursions in Lisbon include:

Wander around the Torre de Belém along the river.

Stop by the famous Pink Street, and, yes, the street is literally pink!

Walk or ride the historic and famous San Francisco-like trams around the historic district of Alfama.
Day Three
Walking Tour of Lisbon
Enjoy an included breakfast before a day of exploring all that Lisbon has to offer.
You can join the group for a walking tour with a local guide through the center of Lisbon. Experience the beautiful capital of Portugal and learn about Portuguese history, myths, and legends with passionate local guides.

Eat dinner and enjoy the famous Portuguese Fado.

Lisbon is known for its amazing architecture and stunning tile buildings. You can see the beautiful examples at the National Tile Museum.
Day Four
Sintra Day Trip
Wake up and enjoy another included breakfast.
Today's main even is an included Sintra Tour led by a local tour guide with transportation and entrance to Pena Palace Parque included!
Check out the colorful castles and palaces that make this the most popular day trip from Lisbon. You'll feel like you've been taken back several centuries as you take in the amazing hilltop views. The local guide will take you around the most picturesque city in Portugal.

Day Five
Transfer from Lisbon to Lagos
Enjoy another included breakfast.
Transportation is included on a private bus to the beautiful small town of Lagos.
After settling in and having the afternoon for any excursions you'd like, join the group by the accommodation's rooftop pool to catch the amazing sunset views.
Day Six
Boat Tour in Lagos
Breakfast is included.
Free morning! Spend time on the beaches, exploring the endless caves, and taking in the warm sun.
Join the group for a boat tour of the amazing turquoise grottos, Ponta da Piedade caves, beaches, and unbelievable coastal scenery in Lagos. Depending on the weather, you may want to jump in from the top deck or relax and enjoy the scenery.
Day Seven
Exploring the Coastline of Lagos
Breakfast is included.
After a free morning, join your group leader in the afternoon to do the famous hike along the most picturesque beaches and cliffs of Lagos!
Spend time on the beaches, exploring the endless caves, and taking in the warm sun. End at the lighthouse and viewpoint of Ponte de Piedade for the most beautiful sunset you've ever seen.

Flight Home
Grab some coffee and one last included breakfast!
Transportation to the airport is included.
Enjoy some more free drinks and meals on the flight back home. Think back on all of your adventures from this trip, say bye to all of your new friends, and enjoy your last day!
